Weighing less than 1200 grams, they are in a league of their own and offer a real advantage in hilly terrain thanks to their lightweight design and confidence-inspiring handling.

As with all wheels in the SES range, the name of the 2.3 is based on the rim depth - 28 mm at the front and 32 mm at the rear. The front and rear rims of the SES have different rim geometries to achieve maximum aero efficiency. The wider front rim provides increased stability in crosswinds, while the narrower, more elongated rear rim improves aerodynamic properties. The use of Hookless Bead technology allowed ENVE's engineers to get more weight out of this wheelset, optimize comfort and maintain strength to provide a precise tubeless interface.

ENVE designs and builds for the strength of carbon fiber, and there is no better example of this than the SES 2.3 wheels. By using continuous fibers throughout the rim, tapering the laminates and removing excess material, the SES 2.3 achieves impressive weight reduction and composite engineering. In addition, by layering fibers in specific orientations, zone-specific performance requirements such as hardness, stiffness and tire durability are met.

The SES 2.3 wheelset is only suitable for tubeless and disc brakes. When it comes to the biggest climbs of the Grand Tours or the hilly terrain on your doorstep, there is simply nothing faster.

The ENVE Premium Road hub is the heart of an SES wheel and brings efficiency, durability and simplicity to any wheelset. From the geometry of the hub flange to the durability of the bearings and Perfect ^PreloadTM, every design detail is the result of more than a decade of development combining ENVE carbon rims with the leading hubs on the market.
