ContiTPU Tubes
A seven-layer, lightweight and space-saving TPU tube for performance-oriented road, gravel and MTB riders.
Lightweight
Easy to repair (repair kit included)
Low rolling resistance
Small pack size
The ContiTPU tube is available in a wide range of sizes from 25/35-622. It is particularly light yet durable and is suitable for both road and off-road applications. Micrometer-thick TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) of the highest quality is processed in seven layers to achieve the best possible airtightness and durability. The hoses remain uncolored to ensure the highest material quality and to avoid unwanted pressure loss, which can be caused by coloration-related surface defects. Each ContiTPU hose is subjected to a manual quality control after production.

The base of the valve stem is slightly tapered to improve the fit on the rim and reduce unwanted movement while riding. In addition, the valve stem has an internal thread which allows the use of valve extensions or a replacement valve core.

Safety instructions
1 TPU tubes must not be used with rim brakes. Strong heat development can lead to sudden pressure loss.

2. a suitable rim tape must be used to protect the TPU hose. Otherwise the inner tube may be damaged.

3. when not fitted, TPU inner tubes may be inflated to a maximum of 0.3 bar. Higher pressure can lead to permanent deformation and render the inner tube unusable.

4. make sure that the valve hole in the rim has the correct diameter. If the valve hole is too large, the valve may twist or tear off.

5. always ensure that the tube or valve is not pinched, twisted or damaged during installation.

6. TPU inner tubes must never be reused in a narrower tire! If you fit a narrower tire, a new inner tube must be used.
