A NEW BIKE FOR CLASSIC RIDES
We don't see road bikes as delicate machines designed just to put watts in and speed out. They are an extension of our soul, the way we want to see our worlds, and the lives we want to lead. Sometimes that means cutting across park grass, and sometimes it means seeing where that dirt road to the left takes you. The Caledonia-5 is a bike for the modern road rider.

The Caledonia is the bike we reach for again and again when we know the odometer is going to go well past the three-digit mark. Long rides inevitably have some slick tarmac, some junk cobbles over back roads, a cut singletrack and maybe even your own local strade bianche sector. So we've built a bike that can take it all, and take it well, and we've fitted mudguards in case the ominous clouds develop into a downpour at kilometer 130 of your day.

We developed the Caledonia-5 in collaboration with our World Tour riders to satisfy the need for a dedicated pavement bike. Faster handling isn't necessarily better - we've tailored the handling to the specific application. In this case, it's Roubaix. Roubaix is harder on bikes than any other race on the calendar, and there's zero margin for error. We've increased the rear center, lowered the BB and increased the trail. The handling is still fast, but we've added stability.

Modern road cyclists are looking for bikes that can cover long distances, set a fast pace, know no limits and offer maximum fun. By using lower modulus carbon fiber in key areas to mitigate the brittleness of high mod fibers, the Caledonia delivers performance, comfort and speed. Oh, and it's suitable for use with a 34mm tire. Or 31mm with mudguards.
