Hyperon Ultra is the new Campagnolo wheel for the most spoiled and demanding cyclists. A wheel that embodies the true perfection of the product, born from Campagnolo's unsurpassed experience. 

To develop this gem, we combined the knowledge of our engineers and experienced testers with feedback from professional cyclists. 

The result is a new set of road bike wheels with a perfect blend of the following attributes: lightweight construction, unrivaled acceleration and superior maneuverability. We've taken the HULC compression molding technology and C-LUX finish to the extreme to make the Hyperon Ultra beautiful to look at and lightweight.

With the aim of enhancing the feeling and performance of the cyclist, thanks to the new Head-2-Bay system we have achieved an incomparable acceleration. This system creates a high-precision connection between the spoke head and the hub, which uses the extremely smooth-running CULT bearings and a new, lighter version of the N3W body .

To make them agile, we have drawn on Campagnolo's well-known know-how and applied the well-known Aero-MoMag technology also to the Hyperon Ultra wheels: a choice that offers aerodynamic advantages and better aesthetics. The rims integrate the proven 2-Way Fit technology with the inner channel of the rim bed, which is not perforated. 

Their special construction with only a single connection point guarantees and increases the rigidity of the impeller system even further.

With its 21mm wide internal rim channel and 37mm profile, the Hyperon Ultra is a wheel that meets the needs of the most demanding cyclist and enhances the aesthetics of any bike.

lightweight construction

• The rims of the new Hyperon Ultra are molded using Campagnolo's latest HULC technology, the result of over 25 years of carbon compression molding experience. This technology ensures an optimization of the rim dimensions, the ratio between carbon fiber and resin, which contributes to greater rigidity and durability.
• The highly polished C-LUX finish creates a surface so smooth that no painting is required, resulting in a weight saving. C-LUX's scientific precision also helps create the most secure fit possible for the tubeless tire, increasing its grip and ease of assembly/disassembly, while also reducing the risk of tire bead damage.

Incomparable acceleration

• The Head-2-Bay system ensures a high-precision connection between the spoke head and the hub and has been optimized to prevent inelastic deformation of the spokes. This innovative technology introduces a high stress management system to reduce the risk of damage and ensure perfectly balanced spoke tension and correct power transmission from the cyclist to the road.
• The N3W Light freewheel body is designed to accommodate 11, 12 and 13 speed cassettes with 9, 10 and 11 teeth or more. The lighter construction combined with the high smooth-running of the CULT bearings and the extreme torsional rigidity offer maximum performance control.
• The abbreviation stands for Ceramic Ultimate Level Technology. CULT bearings offer a significant improvement over all others. The key to the outstanding performance of the CULT bearings lies in the use of the highest quality materials in a hybrid construction.
• Ceramic balls with a high degree of roundness and strength rotate in polymer cages on wear-resistant stainless steel raceways that maximize bearing efficiency and life, requiring at most regular cleaning and light lubrication with synthetic oil.

Superior maneuverability

• Our Aero Mo-Mag technology takes aerodynamics to a new level. The internal nipple seats made of glass fiber reinforced polymer ensure perfect alignment with the spokes and reduce the stress on the individual system components. The innovative construction makes the wheels lighter and optimizes their aerodynamics.
• The rear rim profile is asymmetrical to allow superior stiffness control and optimal tension management for maximum safety and maneuverability in every turn.
• Campagnolo rim construction with a single connection point reduces the number of potential weak points with only one melting point versus the four commonly used in the industry. The rim is therefore extremely stiff and thanks to the use of aerospace-grade carbon it is incredibly strong and resistant to damage.
