The Ekar brake discs are made of robust, hardened, 1.85 mm thick stainless steel and remain reliable and long-lasting even under heavy and sustained braking. They are available in 140 and 160 mm diameter versions to suit your riding style and offer additional weight savings. With the same calipers and pads, the larger disc generates more braking power due to greater heat dissipation over the larger surface area.
