Ideal for flat stages or time trials, the DURA-ACE C60 focuses on aerodynamic efficiency and lateral stiffness. Thanks to its special design, the new hub, stiffer spokes and high-profile rims give the rider the ability to put more pressure on the road in corners and ensure that every ounce of power is converted into forward motion.
Like the entire range of DURA-ACE wheels, the new C60 has been redesigned from the ground up. In contrast to the C36 and C50, the C60 series has a special front hub design and uses the OPTBAL 2:1 lacing pattern to improve lateral strength. The C60 wheels also use stiffer 1.8 mm spokes instead of 1.5 mm. Tested by our professional riders, the improved lateral stiffness of the C60 wheels makes it possible to put more pressure on the road when cornering. It also improves handling at high speeds. In addition, the rims tested in the wind tunnel with their high profile offer a more stable cross-section for higher speeds, which is particularly beneficial for time trial specialists, triathletes and sprinters.
