RX60

The new RX60 are all-round aero wheels with excellent properties for a wide range of road applications, which allow you to ride stably and safely on long distances but also in tight corners. This hand-laminated, ultra-high-quality wheelset helps you to reach higher speeds without compromising on handling and stiffness.

Handmade in Germany.

In line with our philosophy of a holistic approach, the rim was developed as a unit with the tire using CFD until an optimal design for the targeted tires of 25mm and 28mm was determined.

The resulting wide profile ensures an optimal transition of the surrounding air from tire to rim and allows the airflow to adhere.

The rims are built with double-crossed aerodynamic, elliptical spokes from Sapim to minimize air resistance in the area of higher rotational speed. We use CX-Sprint spokes on the drive side and CX-Ray spokes on the non-drive side. This provides a more even stiffness in the wheel. Of course, we use internal nipples.

This gives you the opportunity to get hold of hand-laminated, ultra-high-quality aero wheels made in Germany that will help you achieve higher speeds without compromising on handling and stiffness.

At 1,467 g, the wheels are very light and boast internal nipples for maximum aerodynamics. Both classic inner tube and tubeless mounting with sealant are possible. The rims are optimized for tires between 25 and 28 mm, which in the eyes of the jury represents a sensible width in the high-performance sector. When choosing the hubs, BEAST Components opted for the tried and tested DT Swiss 240 or 180, which score points with their high-quality, durable construction and reasonable price-performance ratio. The combination of high-quality construction, components used and fair production is completely convincing."
